Letter of Introduction
Dear sailor partners and friends: Once again this year, and if it’s possible, with more illusion than the last one, we’re organizing the 2012 MEDITERRANEAN SAILING MEETING edition, or the MedSailing as we call colloquially, which will be held on may 11 and 12. A multiclass regatta which includes from little optimists to the biggest cruises and where we’re expecting multiple sailors of all classes participation.
At hardest and most complicated circumstances, as in daily life, is where the overcoming spirit of each sportsman becomes a huge advantage. Not just the knowledge, the level of the material and the technic makes us reach the triumph on a race, it’s the sailors personal effort and his adaptation with the environment what makes possible to reach the podium. Even when they don’t, the feeling of having fought, learned, exerted oneself, being aware of the mistakes done and their attributes; make them go ahead with the next trial with the acquired wealth conscious of their improved capacity.
Club Náutico El BalÃs offers the event organization and therefore tries to bring about the convocation diffusion, but what really makes the regatta possible is all of you: sailors, participants and people who comes to the event, making it bigger and letting us learn all it can offers.
We offer this convocation to diffuse the sportsmen sail attributes. For your efforts and dedication that we aim to keep on going with the sail and sailors party. In the end, your party.
