We are close to the maximum number of entries for the clinic, so if you are coming please confirm your place by sending us your entry form!
Some top sailors coming from abroad and all over Spain will attend the Resano bros-Optisailors Clinic + Med Sailing Meeting Regatta, and many of them will use it as preparation for Worlds´ and Europeans´ 2012:
- Henry Daniels, David & Lawrence Wilson, TOP 5 in Southafrica and already qualified for Worlds´
- Harry & Johnny Durcan, Ben Walsh, Ross Morgan, Ronan Cournane and Nell Staunton are coming from as far as IRELAND, and most of them are part of the National Team.
- Alex Esposito and sister Katy are coming from Malta, and Alex is also qualified to represent his country at Worlds´
- the best 2 Portuguese sailors of their National Team: we will know their names after selection is finished next week!
- and finally some of the best Spanish sailors, who are still fighting for a place in the National Team such as Canary Elias, Murcian Antonito and all the best Catalans

Club Náutico El BalÃs is pleased to invite you to take part in the MeSailing Meeting. The regatta will take place on 12th and 13th May for Optimist, 420, Laser, Techno293-RS:X-Raceboard, FX1, F18, disabled sailing, Bic Open, RSFeva, Dinghy handicap, RI Yachts, Classic Yacht; and which will be Catalan Championship for classes Finn, J80 and 29er.
Entries for the Medsailing Meeting are now open. Get yours at the entries section.
Coaching days will be celebrated during the previous days of the regatta (9th to 11th May): technic chats, sailing sessions for J80, 420, 29er and Laser classes; training at the racing area for techno 293 and RS:X and finally, the MEDSAILING MEETING OPTIMIST CLINIC –VI RESANO Bros – OPTISAILORS celebration.
Such a great environment will surround the racing area as well as the Village. The Village is the meeting point area for sailors of all classes and their companions. A bar service zone with tables in the shade for your comfort and tranquillity. Nautical wear and technical material will be exhibited and sold at the business stands round the area.
Sportsmen of the highest level will take part in this big regatta: 29er world champion, J-80 second world champion, Optimist coming from Ireland, 420, windsurf and laser national podiums and further more. You cannot miss it!

The Notice of Race has been published already. See the web event medsailingmeeting.com. You’ll receive communications of the club through the newsletter when the inscription period it’s open. The regatta will be Catalan Championship for classes J80, Finn and 29er.
VIRTUAL REGATTA – you can join the Virtual MedSailing through SailX. Every Tuesday and Friday at 21:00, start the MedSailing: begin the championship with a victory! More than 130 sailors have already done their first races.

Optimist Clinic MedSailing Meeting VI Resano bros. –OPTISAILORS

Manny Resano & Bocha Pollitzer (Optisailors), Lola Resano, Magda Resano and Club NÃ utic El BalÃs organize jointly their VI Optimist Clinic, aimed at providing advanced race training for Optimist sailors competing at top level.
After the success of the clinic in the previous editions -attended by some of the best Spanish and international sailors- the sixth edition is once again opened up for participants from abroad.
The program will consist of 3 days of lectures and on-the-water drills including tactics, strategy, sail trim, boat speed and technical skills; followed by 2 days of individual races: MED SAILING MEETING REGATTA.
We will hold intense sessions, with racing, lectures and video briefings every day.

- Bocha Pollitzer (Spain/USA), Optisailors International Coach, Head Coach at Marina Rubicón, Lanzarote, Spain
- Lola Resano (Spain), International Coach, Head Coach at CM Altafulla.

And counting with the collaboration of Carlos Robles (29er World & European Champion 2011) and other local coaches.
